What's Behind Our Mission

We are beyond committed (some say perfectionists) to providing the highest quality, consistency and overall experience to our beloved customers. It is our mission to provide the highest quality and consistency of temporary nipple tattoos and overall experience to our beloved customers.

TataTattoos is more than just a brand; it’s an offer to those reclaiming their confidence after the challenges of breast cancer. We’re committed to creating the highest quality temporary breast tattoo experience that’s warm, empowering, and maybe (hopefully!) even a little fun.

When undergoing breast reconstruction or contemplating permanent areola tattoos, you may feel in limbo—incomplete or “in transition.” TataTattoos was born to bridge that gap.

Our realistic nipple tattoos are designed to be comforting reminders of who you are whole, beautiful, and bold. Whether you call them nipple tattoos, nipple tats, or tata tattoos, they symbolize courage and resilience.

[Freakish] Commitment to Quality

It is our mission to provide the highest quality and consistency of temporary nipple tattoos and overall experience to our beloved customers.

TataTattoos is the only temporary nipple/areola tattoo company that invests in a “dedicated print run” in partnership with the manufacturer. Printing consistent, high quality skin tones on temporary tattoo paper is extremely challenging. This is due to something called color shift – when the manufacturer prints skin tones with other production orders, the tattoos take on the dominant color in the overall print run. This leads to typically either heavy pink or blue tones, little shade variance, inconsistencies in products, and do not reflect the images customers intend to purchase. Product quality and consistency in shades is the most important characteristic to our repeat customers.

These temporary solutions cater to women seeking both aesthetics and emotional healing during their recovery journeys. Our little circles of love serve as an everyday reminder of your strength and resilience; something to smile about every time you catch a glimpse in the mirror.

Our eye-catching tattoo artwork, covered by U.S. Copyright Reg. No. VA 2-347-432, is expertly crafted by our founder, Mara DeFilippis.

Restore Confidence with TataTattoos

About Temporary Nipple Tattoos

Nipple reconstruction and areola/nipple permanent tattoos are typically the final step in the breast reconstruction process following a mastectomy. They are the "final touch" in the reconstruction process and often provide a profound sense of relief to those women who've undergone a mastectomy, as if closing a tremendously tough chapter of their lives.

Areola tattoos and possible nipple reconstruction is completed once the expanders are replaced with permanent silicone or saline bags and have had adequate time to heal and "settle" into their permanent position. That is the time when the nipple tattoo can be used safely.

During these months, it is common to hear women say they feel "incomplete", "in transition", or "bare". It is during this time that TataTattoos is here to help you feel more complete, help your breasts look more natural and give you a sense of "normal" during this time.

TataTattoos can be used:

  • During the months of waiting for the breast bags to heal and settle
  • As a permanent solution for those who do not plan to undergo permanent nipple tattooing
  • As a solution for those who are not able to undergo permanent areola tattoos and/or nipple reconstruction due to complications
  • For those who are “just done” with any additional procedures
  • For those who would like a different looking areola and/or nipple for various other reasons
